The Japanese and Australian food was a big hit and so was the energetic dance performed for us by the visitors. The Farewell Sayonara Escoft on the evening of Friday August 11th was perfect balance of informality and official farewells with kansas city escourts and gifts being given to each visitor.
They are all home safely now and many have contacted their families here to say how much they learned while they were with us. It graphically depicted the long tradition of Japanese fishermen casting their nets and the hard work of bringing in the fish.
Special thanks to every host family for your generosity and for letting us know that you are happy to do it all over again in the future. The final tearful farewell for the host families, students, teacher and tour escort was very early on the morning of Sunday August 13th.
